Richard Wayne Serra, age 69, of Braselton passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016.  Richard was a United States Army veteran.  He was retired from Bellsouth, Cingular Wireless and AT&T.  After retirement, he started his own computer business.  Richard loved working on cars, he loved his grandchildren and family.  Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Karen Serra; daughters Lisa Serra of Flowery Branch, Pamela Whitehead and husband Shon of Braselton; brothers Charles Serra and wife Beth of PA, Chris Serra and wife Brenda, Larry Serra and wife Dinorah all of Snellville; grandchildren Katelyn, Walt and Colton and a host of other relatives.  Memorial services will be held 4:30 pm Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Shubert officiating.
