My condolences on Bernie’s passing. He and I competed in Little League together. He for the Reds and me for the Cubs. We each pitched no-hitters against each other in the same game with the Reds winning 1-0. Nice memory and good story.

I was shocked and heartbroken to read of Bernie’s passing. Growing up on Pleasant Heights we were like brothers, and the memories will last forever. As we grew older and moved to different parts of the country we lost touch. But 2 years ago we reconnected and got to spend some time together. Bernie, Charlotte, Larry, Andolyn, Zach and Tammy … Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss. He will be greatly missed.
