Hi Pat,
My name is Sean and I am doing a podcast on the Dixie Mafia and Billy Sunday Birt in particular. I was wondering if you would be interested in speaking with me about this and other things related to the Dixie Mafia?
Thank You,
Sean
Deepest sympathy and prayers for all.
Michael Holland and family.
Billy Bunday Birt has been a matter of deep fascination for me since I first became acquainted with him in the Atlanta Const stories of circa March 30 and April 1 1980. I read them in the Knoxville Tn Library, hometown of Cormac McCarthy one of the great novelist of the last half of the 20 Century for which Birt and his namesake of the great evangelist would’ve been a great muse. Billy’s baptism by his grandson in Winder in the 90s and his witness thereafter in the prison system of Georgia puts the sermons of my Baptist preacher Daddy to the test. Its all in the hands of eternity now and my condolences go to the family.
Sorry to hear about your loss Shane.Out of the birt family you and Bobby were the only 2 I knew well.Anyway sorry for your loss and God bless you Shane and your family
One can only hope that Billy is burning hot in hell with the rest of his gang. I lost my grandparents to this evil son of a bitch before I every got to know them.
