Brenda Sue Ruark, age 53, of Jefferson passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011. Brenda was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Flowery Branch. Mrs. Ruark is survived by her sons Rodney Ruark of Jefferson; Chris Ruark and fiancee Terri of Jefferson; Step-Sons Dewain Pittman of Winder; Tim Ruark and Kelly of Gainesville; Daughter Bailey Ruark of Jefferson and Step-Daughter Amber Ruark of Athens; Brothers Bobby Pittman and Linda of Flowery Branch; Johnny Pittman of Loganville; Bobby Lee Pittman and Amanda of Tom Ball, TX; Sisters Charlene Rider and Dale of Winder; Yvonne Brownlee and Randy of Buford; LeAnne Aston and Todd of Jacksonville, FL; 1 grandchild; 8 step grandchildren; 1 step great granddaughter. Brenda is preceded in death by her husband Ricky Darrel Ruark and her parents Gordon Pittman and Dorothy Dacus Pittman. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2011 at Lawson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at White Plains Baptist Church, 3650 Hwy 124, Jefferson, GA. with Pastor Cary Pittman officiating.
