Charles Eugene White

Charles Eugene White, 84, formerly from Lilburn, Georgia, passed away on April 17, 2024. Born January 19, 1940.  He was a graduate from Lilburn High School, Class of 1959. Charles was a dedicated brick mason by trade, a skill he learned from his grandfather, Henry Elliott White and father, Henry Grady. He was a proud member of the Masons Local 8 Bricklayer Union and passed on his expertise to his sons, Ricky White and Chuck White.  A family man at heart, Charles cherished spending time with his loved ones. He enjoyed watching western movies, watching drag races, and working in the flower garden with his wife. Waylon Jennings’ country music was a constant companion in his life, bringing him joy wherever he went. He is survived by his children: Beverly White Camp (Craig), Ricky Shane White, Natalie White McCullers (David), Charles (Chuck) Eugene White Jr. (Tanya), and his brother, Douglas Grady White (Agnes), sister in law, Elaine White, brother in law, Mark Shafer,  and a host of nieces and nephews. Grandchildren: Bradley Nelson Camp (Amanda), Wesley Austin Camp (Kimmy), Kirsten White Frady (Jake), Hannah Barnett Banks (Brandon), Michaela McCullers Shaw (Eddy), Lauren White Watkins (Brandon), Mason Charles White (Bailey), Jacob Ray Barnett (Eva), Katie Barnett White, Maylon Elizabeth White ( J.J.), and Dakotah McCullers.  Great Grandchildren: Gracie Shaw, Kinsley Watkins, Hutson Frady, Kam Watkins, James Camp, Lawson Brumbelow, Iveigh Frady, Mathew Camp, Collins Brumbelow, Asher Banks, Greyson Smith, Ridge Watkins, Maddox Frady, Walker Watkins, Bryer Smith, Callie Banks, Bodie Watkins, Adeline Barnett, Baby Smith on the way, Baby Shaw on the way, and Baby Banks on the way. Charles was preceded in death by the love of his life of 62 years, Rosalyn McGehee White, parents Mabel Martin White and Henry Grady White, siblings Norman Lamar White, Shirley Ann White Stroud, Sandra Gayle White Shafer, and his great-grandson Bryer Lee Smith. A service to honor and celebrate Charles’s life will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm at Lawson Funeral Home in Hoschton, Georgia, with Memorial service immediately following.
