Charles Stinchcomb, age 60, of Jefferson passed away Friday, February 28, 2014. Mr Stinchcomb was born in Gwinnett County. The son of the late Robert and Lola Stinchcomb. He is survived by his brother Bud Stinchcomb and wife Barbara of Hoschton; sisters Johnnie Cole and husband Richard of Auburn, Martha Bartlett and husband Wallace of Braselton, Sybil Clark of Jefferson, Jackie Sims and husband Phil of Winder, Cathy Greeson of Statham; sister-in-law Wanda Stinchcomb of Braselton and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother R.B. Stinchcomb and brother-in-law Billy Clark. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hoschton Church of God of Prophecy, 8187 Pendergrass Road, Hoschton, GA, 30548. Thomas Holmes will be officiating. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the funeral home.
