Clifford Kayser, Sr.

Clifford  Kayser, Sr.,  81 of Loganville, GA formerly of Danbury, Terryville and Watertown, Ct and Surry, NH died November 3, 2013 at home with his family by his side. Clifford was born in Bethel, CT, son of the late Edward and Grace (Babcock) Kayser. Cliff graduated Bethel High School, Class of 1950. He was a veteran of the Korean war. Cliff was Scout Master from 1963 to 1976 for troop 168 sponsored by United Methodist Church of Danbury. Upon retiring from State of Conn. Dept of Mental Retardation, Clifford owned and operated Surry Mountain Campground in Surry, NH for 16 years. Cliff loved campfires, the Boston Red Sox, his family and his dogs. Cliff is survived by his wife Jane Godbois-Kayser, his children daughter Abbylee Kayser of Loganville, Ga, his son Clifford Jr and wife Kate of Danbury, son David and wife Dina of Middlebury, daughter Ronda and husband Michael Serafin of Glen Rock, Pa, daughter Brenda and husband Gary Fiandra of New Milford. Grandchildren SPC Jodie Gomez (Flight Medic) of West Point, NY, Matthew, Lynde and Zachary Kayser of Middlebury, Kristen Serafin of Washington, DC and Jason  Serafin of Glenrock, Pa, grandson Gunnery Sgt Mark Erhardt of Twentynine Palms, California, Joseph Fiandra of New Milford. Two great grandchildren Logan and Isabel Erhardt of Twentynine Palms. Sisters Hazel Bogues of Danbury, Patricia Ferriss of Wisconsin, brother John and wife Mary of New Milford, Ct. Clifford was predeceased by his twin brother Bernard, brother Donald, brother-in-law John Bogues and grandson Luke Fiandra. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 30, 2013 at United Methodist Church on Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, CT. Rev.
