  23. Dennis and Barbara: I was deeply saddened when I called you recently and heard the news about your grandson. I am asking all of our 100 deacons at Silverdale Baptist Church to pray for you and the whole family.

As you know, my Dad passed away on March 30 of this year. I can never thank you all enough for what you did for him, especially after his wife (my mother) passed away in 2013. Last night I had the most distinct impression that Davis and my Dad have already met in Heaven and talked about my Dad’s long friendship with you and your family.

May God bless and comfort you as only He can. In Christ, Rod Reed, Chattanooga, TN.

  24. Dear Dennis and Barbara: We are very sorry to hear about the loss of your grandson Davis. Our family has cherished your wonderful friendship and your kindness to our parents over the years. We did not have the pleasure of knowing Davis but know that he was one among a kind and wonderful family.
