Edward Eugene Rice Jr., age 65 of Habersham passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Edward worked for Vulcan Materials for 35 years. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs, fishing, hunting, car races, and baseball. He is survived by his parents Ed and Betty Jean Rice; brothers Randall Rice and wife Donna of Auburn, Gary Rice and wife Stephanie of Lawrenceville; sisters Deborah Rice of Alto, Donna Bentley and husband Bruce of Social Circle, Lynn Knight and husband Michael of Auburn; 1 aunt; 1 uncle; 4 nephews; 4 nieces; 6 great nephews; 5 great nieces. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, April 1, 2024 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Dan Smith, Rev. Grady Hester, and Rev. Steve Hicks.
