Geneva Rush Doss

Geneva Rush Brown Doss, (77) of Junction City, Georgia passed away Monday August 28, 2023 surrounded by family and loved ones. Geneva was born in Stone Mountain, Georgia in 1946 to Alice Geneva Moore and George Rush. Geneva was preceded in death by her son James W. Brown. She is survived by her husband of 37 years Alec H. Doss, JR, daughter-in-law Michele Helms and husband Shane Helms of Braselton, son-in-law Clay Doss and wife Tammy Doss of Loganville, granddaughters Chelsea Brown, Holly and Eric Halford, and Hannah Doss, and great-grandsons Henry Halford and Thomas Halford. Geneva was a hunter, gardener, and incredible cook. She retired after over 31 years at General Motors. Her days of retirement were spent tending to her large vegetable garden and even larger flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Services will be held at Lawson Funeral Home in Hoschton, Georgia on Saturday, September 2^nd. Visitation will begin at 1:00 and a memorial service will follow at 2:00.
