Kenneth E. Prater, age 53, of Hoschton passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014. Kenneth was a singer and song writer, a member of the Winder Moose Lodge 262 where he served as a Past Governor. He also served as a volunteer fireman for Jackson County. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Phylllis Prater; son Mack Prater and wife Kourtney of TN; mother-in-law Hazel McNeal of Hoschton; brothers Tommie Prater and wife Ginnie of Covington and Tim Prater and wife Stella of Loganville; sister Elaine Furlow and husband Terrance of Monroe; sister-in-law Sandra Graham and husband Talmadge of VA; granddaughter Jamie Prater; nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Annie Prater. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Winder Moose Lodge 262, 434 Highway 211, Winder, GA, 30680.
