Mr. Antonio S. Leandro, age 80, of Braselton, Ga., passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2011. Mr. Leandro loved soccer, animals, music and his family. He is survived by his wife, Maria Teresa Leandro; son, Luis A. Leandro (Loretta), of Braselton; daughter-in-law, Lori Leandro, of Braselton; sister, Teresa DeJesus (Antonio A.), of Rhode Island; sister-in-law, Evangalina Leandro, of Conn.; grandchild, Teresa E. Hunter; and great-grandchild, Aubrey Hunter. Mr. Leandro was preceded in death by his son, Manuel “Tony” Antonio Leandro; brothers, John Leandro (Julietta) and Serafim Leandro. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at Lawson Funeral Home, with a Rosary being said at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at the Hoschton City Cemetery, Hoschton. A Mass will be said in his name at St. Michael Church, Pawcatuck, Conn., at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug., 27.
