Pouso’o Oloatua Apineru

Pouso’o Oloatua Apineru, age 55, of Winder passed away Friday, August 20, 2021.  Pouso’o loved his family and being a grandfather. His hobbies were fishing, listening to music and cooking out.  He also loved his work.  Survivors include his wife Kimberly Apineru of Winder; son Adam Pouso’o Apineru and wife Mehgan of Jefferson; daughters April Renee Apineru and Alexis Eseta Apineru both of Winder; grandson Kainoa Apineru; brothers James Kalepo of American Samoa and Tauloa Apineru and wife Kathleen of WI; sisters Te’afa’atasi Mulitauaopele, Susie Apineru-Bates and husband Will and Selestina Apineru of MO and a host of other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents Oloatua and Susie Apineru; sisters Hatesa Evans and  Dorothy Morris.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Chris Connor will be officiating.  Interment to follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens, 87 Scenic Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.  The family will receive friends 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kainoa Apineru College Fund, 987 Brandywine Drive, Winder, GA, 30680 or GoFundMe.com Kainoa Apineru Education Fund.  Funeral arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.

    My heart is broken that you had to leave so soon and so sudden. You told me we were going to FaceTime after surgery but that didn’t happen. I will see you again in heaven. Til we meet again, I will always be thinking of you! I will miss you! I love you with all me heart & soul.
