Richard Thomas (Tom) Lott

Richard Thomas (Tom) Lott, age 75, of Braselton passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021.  Tom was a truck driver and loved going fast.  He grew up on a farm and enjoyed the farm life.  Survivors include his son Ralph Thomas (Chip) Lott of Braselton; brothers Bill Lott and Roger Lott both of Braselton; nephew Justin Lott and wife Genna and a host of other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Lucile Lott.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Dale Green will be officiating.  Interment to follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the funeral home.   Funeral arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.

    Wherever a godly soul has wondered if they leave a trail of wonderful memories.
    Your dad was a godly Man and he taught you how to be a godly good man and you stood beside your dad and was there for your dad 24/7 you often spoke of how he was your best friend but you know what you were his best friend.
    Your dad was loved by many he will be missed but never forgotten .
