Robert Anthony “Tony” Price

Robert Anthony “Tony” Price, age 50, of Buford passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021.  Tony has worked in the funeral industry for 25 plus years.  He was very devoted to all the families he had served.  Tony wore many hats and kept himself busy.  He was the president of his neighborhood HOA for 16 years, served on the Planning and Zoning Committee for the town of Braselton, he was a devoted Rotarian and was a member of numerous organized clubs.  Tony not only loved his career, he loved his  family, working in the yard, watching movies and his car.  Survivors include his wife of 21 years Missi Nelson Price of Buford; son Tyler Nelson Price; daughter Sophia Grace Price both of Buford; mother Elaine Sera and step father Donald of Fayetteville; step mother Kim Price of FL; father in law and mother in law Bucky and Glenna Nelson of Marietta; brothers Dennis Price and Amy Steinman of FL, Michael Price of Atlanta; sisters Misty Price Foster and husband Michael, Victoria Price and James Slade all of FL, the dogs Sadie and Duke and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father James Monroe Price.  Memorial Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Jason Berry will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to GoFundMe and search Tony Price Family.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.

  5. Tony was a great gentleman. I knew him professionally and as a friend. He was the type of person that cared for everyone, he will give you the shirt off his back and do whatever to help. In every walk of life he was dedicated to whom he assisted with any situation. He was instrumental making his community better. His compassion for others was unbelievable. He was amazing, helping me send my dear wife off to heaven. Tony will be dearly missed. My prayers are with the family. He will never be forgotten because who he was. Rest in peace! Tony.

  11. Tony was always so great to me . He was my customer while I worked with several companies in funeral service. More importantly he was a great friend I will miss him . The service today was a great celebration of his life. Prayers to all.

  12. Tony was a great colleague on the Planning Commission in Braselton. In my 8 years of service he always was concerned about the people. He donated an American Flag for my father’s military service. He was a kind soul and always helpful. He always spoke about the love for his family and community. God bless him as an angel in heaven.
