Mother Shirley Eudene Trotman, age 94 and a half, of Hoschton and formerly New York, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2020. Mother Trotman loved the Bible, helping people, cooking, shopping, assembling puzzles, and crocheting. She was the President of the Mother’s in Zion at Beulah Church of God in Christ Jesus in Brooklyn, NY and the AGAPE Food Pantry. She is survived by her sons Idris Trotman and wife Cleo of CT, Jon Trotman of SC; daughters Loretta Trotman of Hoschton, Frances Chaplin and husband Joseph of Dacula; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Trotman; son William Trotman; brothers Victor Jackman and Clarence Barrow; sisters Edna Trotman and Christina Barrow. Going home service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Bishop Jerry Gaddis will be officiating. Interment to follow at the Hoschton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:00 noon to service time on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the funeral home.
