She was a member of the Hoschton Church of God of Prophecy for 3 years.  “Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great.” Acts 26:22 KJV.   Survivors include her daughter Regina Trotman of Hoschton; brothers Idris Trotman of New Haven, CT, Jon Trotman of West Columbia, SC and sister Frances Chaplin of Dacula, GA.  She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Shirley Trotman and brother William Trotman.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Friday, December 18, 2020 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Bishop Jerry Gaddis will be officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at the Hoschton City Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.

  4. I loved my sister in Christ Loretta. She was a fireball in Christ, she was one of my teachers in the Apostolic Learning Center, and she often came to Beulah Tabernacle to bless our women before moving to Georgia. I had the privilege of seeing the love she had for her family on a personal level and she took very good care of them. My heart goes out to precious Regina and I invite her to reach out to me when she’s able. I’ll see you in the rapture dear sister. You have done well.

  5. My dearest Sister in Christ will long be remembered and deeply missed. Loretta rendered “par excellant” services to many namely Beulah Church where she faithfully attended many years. She worked in various capacities with all diligence ,zeal and joy. Loretta was respected and loved by all that crossed her path. She showed love to her sisters and brothers in Christ particularly to her Pastor and his family. She supported her church even after relocating to Georgia.Missionary Loretta
Trotman has completed her earthly assignments here on earth and is awaiting her just reward. Her rich legacy leaves behind deep footprints in the lives of many.We will always embrace her only offspring Regina and
    family left behind

  6. I called Sister Trotman’s phone after her transition just to hear her voicemail; I couldn’t hold back my tears. I will cry again on the day of the resurrection, when I hug her at appearance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  7. I knew Loretta when she was a young girl, into becoming a young lady. We did not communicate as he matured into adulthood, but over the years hearing her mother’s references to her, ie: “Loretta says”… “Loretta did”; allowed me to know that Loretta’s truthfulness and strong-willed personality had progressed with her. I am pleased to know that Loretta’s reckoning force became a “fireball” of love, of respect, of commitment, of trust, of belief and of teaching The Word of The Holy Spirit…All Praises!

  8. I loved and respected sister Trotman. She had a great sense of humor. I haven’t seen her since she moved to Georgia but I remember visiting her and mother Trotman here at her house in Brooklyn. We watched some preaching on TV and we had a wonderful fellowship. I guess sister Trotman got her humor from mother Totman, we laughed and had a wonder time together that day. Sister Regina, hold on to God’s unchanging hand. There is comfort, strength, love, peace, joy, goodness and mercy in the Lord. Love you sis. I pray you understand God’s grace. He said in 2 Cor 12:9-10…”And he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”…for Christ sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong”. Be well

  9. God will never leave you wanting and he will never leave you weak, God readily provids us with his goodness;it is never something we have to beg or plead for. He even went a stept futher to ensure that we are always his and we can never want when when it comes to God.may he continued to strengthen this family during this time
