Steven Michael Williams, age 70, of Winder, GA, passed away on November 7, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1953, in Pensacola, FL. Steven is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sharon Taylor Williams, of Winder, GA. He has five children: Stacey (Jeff) Hayes of Woodstock, GA, Cheryl (John) Kunik of Woodstock, GA, Jennifer (TJ) Parr of Young Harris, GA, Brandon (Britney) Williams of Athens, GA, and Patrick Williams of Melbourne, FL. He was also a grandfather to Ashley, Hannah, Katie, Abigail, Morgan, Jacob, Noah, Rowen, and Weston, as well as a great-grandfather to Spencer and Raelynn. Steven is also survived by his sister, Darlene Davis, and his brothers, David Williams and Bill Spalinger. Steven had a successful career in the restaurant industry, working as a Director of Operations for most of his life. He was known for his expertise as a Certified Electrician and provided consulting services for franchise owners. In more recent years, he worked in the convenience store industry and, during his retirement, he worked for Clinical Laboratory Systems. Steven will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for his family will live on in their hearts forever. A memorial service to celebrate Steven’s life will be held on November 9, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Lawson Funeral Home in Hoschton, GA.
