Sylvia Ruth Henry, age 69, of Gainesville passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019. Sylvia was a homemaker and enjoyed canning foods. She loved her family and the Lord. Survivors include her step parents William and Katie Pratt; sons Myron Charles Henry and Bobby Joe Henry II both of Gainesville; brothers Ronnie Wilson and wife Donna of Pendergrass, Kevin Wilson and wife Melinda of Gainesville; sister Lynn Greenway and husband Robert of Gainesville. She is preceded in death by her parents Myron Wilson, Dorothy Wilson and brother Eddie Wilson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bobby Jolley, Terry Skidmore and Sister Elaine Bryant will be officiating. Interment to follow at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, December 9, 2019 at the funeral home.
