Carolyn Virginia Perry Wages, age 86, of Winder passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015. Mrs. Wages was a long time employee of Barrow Manufacturing. She was a member of Winder Baptist Church and faithful worker in Children’s worship. She is survived by her daughters Nan Fortner and fiancé Ronnie Self, Susan Wages, Lucretia Carder all of Winder; son Perry Wages of Winder; grandchildren Nicolas Fortner of Winder, Jeremy and wife Courtney Fortner of KY, Dylan Carder, Dalton Wages both of Winder; great grandchildren Gavin Fortner and Camden Fortner; sister-in-law, Eloise Hendrix and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Conyer and Pauline Wall Perry; husband Howard Levene Wages, sisters Lorene Wood and Mary Healan, brothers Wallace Perry and James Perry and granddaughter Morgan Wages. Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Winder First Baptist Church, 625 Jefferson Hwy, Winder, GA, 30680. In lieu of flowers contributions may be to Winder First Baptist Church Building Fund.
