Linda was born on November 27, 1945 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. One of twelve children, she was particularly close with her siblings, who all referred to her as “Queen.” Children were one of her greatest joys in life, and she had a special way of caring and connecting with them. Linda worked twenty-five years as a “lunchroom lady” at West Jackson Elementary School, most of those years arriving early to wait with the children dropped off before the school opened. Linda always kept spare money in her pocket to make sure that every child that came through the lunch line had enough to eat. She was a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

John I was so sorry to hear about your mother. I often recalled you mentioned to me,” I’m going to my mother house to fix this or do whatever she needed you to do”. You were a great son. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Sending condolences,hugs and prayers❤🙏❤.
Linda was always a pleasure to see. We did not get together except at Thanksgiving or other gatherings but it was always enjoyable. My thoughts and prayers are so with her family. She was much loved by many.🙏
Such a precious lady.
Our little community was a better place for having her be a part of it.
May the Lord bless your family with the peace that only comes from the Father about.
Blessings from Mark and Evelyn Holder 🙏
