Richard was a good man.
Tonia and Angela and family, sorry for your loss. Sending love and prayers.
Charles Richard Greene know to me as Poppie was and always will be the best Grandfather there ever was. He always knew the right things to say and had the most healing hugs you could ever receive. He was my hero and it’s the hardest feeling ever to let him go. It brings me peace knowing he’s wrapped in the loving arms of my Nana (Lila Greene) again. He had a love for her like you would find in movies and story books. I don’t think anyone could love someone the way he loved and adored My nana. You will always be in my heart and never be forgotten. I love you to no end!
Love, your Taterbug
Prior to making Captain, Lieutenant “Lieu” Greene was my Lieutenant at the old Station 6…he was a great officer. I enjoyed working with him and I know he’ll be greatly missed by the men he led and his family.

We are sorry to hear of Richard’s death. Larry and I went to DeKalb Technical School with him years ago and enjoyed some good times. May God give his family comfort in his home going.
