Donna Lisa Gonzalez, 55, of Jefferson, Georgia, passed away on February 9, 2025, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born on August 19, 1969, in Manchester, New Hampshire, Donna spent much of her life in Southern California, where she met her late husband, Valentin Gonzalez Jr., in June 1989. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising their two children, Nicholas and Sabrina. Donna spent over 30 years in the dental field, building lasting relationships with colleagues and patients alike.
Donna was the beloved daughter of Lisa and the late Leon LaDuke, and a devoted mother to Nicholas and Sabrina. She was the cherished widow of Valentin Gonzalez Jr., who preceded her in death. Donna is also survived by her five adored grandchildren: Adalee, Pallas, Greyson, Landon, and Nicholas Jr., who brought her endless joy. She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Debbie, and brother, David, as well as her aunt Dolly and numerous uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom will miss her deeply.
Donna’s kind, vibrant spirit and infectious laughter left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, whether it was attending softball games, coloring, or simply enjoying fun moments together. Donna had a passion for completing DIY projects and was skilled at remodeling her home and creating special memories while camping and traveling with her family.
Her family was everything to her, and Donna dedicated her life to caring for and supporting them in all their endeavors. She faced each day with remarkable strength, battling her illness with no complaints, and her unwavering determination was an inspiration to all who knew her.
A private family service will be held to honor Donna’s memory.
Donna will be deeply missed, but her love, joy, and strength will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Rest in peace, Donna.
