Diana Marie Opolka, age 85, of Lawrenceville, Ga., passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025. Diana gained her master’s degree in music from Georgia State University and following that became a music teacher. She was a member of the Atlanta Chapter of The American Guild of Organists and played the Organ at Church when needed. She loved gardening and dogs. Diana is survived by her sons Peter J. Opolka Jr. and wife Judy of Monroe and Christopher A. Opolka and wife Alicia of Braselton; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Peter Opolka; son Gary Opolka; daughter Marie Dixon. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch. Interment to follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville.
