Mrs. Willette Mason Ellison, age 66, of Hoschton, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011. She was a member of Mountain Park First Baptist Church of Stone Mountain and attended Celebration Church in Hoschton. Willette loved her family, grandchildren and friends as well as cooking, cross stitching, mathematics and enjoyed serving on church mission trips. She served as an Honorary Member of the Red Hat Ladies Society. Willette will be extremely missed by all. She is preceded in death by her son, Jerry Donald Ellsion, Jr. Mrs. Ellison is survived by her husband of 40 years, 2 months and 1 day, Jerry D. Ellison, Sr.; daughters Karla Ellison Garrard, husband Brent of Martinez, GA; Twila Ellison Masachi, husband Chris, of Braselton; sister Twila Willis, husband Harvey, of Sautee Nachoochee, GA; grandchildren Caleb, Josiah, Kaelie, Anna Joy, Lane and Lillie; a host of other relatives. Family will receive friends at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, August 15, 2011 at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends 12:45pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Celebration Church. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Celebration Church. Dr. Mike Day and Pastor Brent Garrard will be officiating. A private inturnment service was held prior to funeral service. The family request, in lieu of flowers, are asked to make contributions to Celebration Church, 5560 Thompson Mill Road, Hoschton, GA, 30548 for distribution to Celebration, Young Life, Every Nation Campus Ministries, and In Focus Church in which The Ellisons’ supported.
