Sadie Bell Carter Hayes, age 79, of Hoschton passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015. Sadie enjoyed fishing, sewing, quilting and canning. She loved her family and her Cadillac. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Jefferson. Survivors include her husband of 49 years Charles L. Hayes sons Timmy Carter and wife Jamie of Hoschton, Charles “Red” Carter and wife Mary of Arcade; daughters Bonnie Patton and husband Wayne of Winder, Margaret Brock and husband Buck; Martha Sue Brock and husband Pete all of Jefferson; brother Willie Bill Lee of Jefferson; sister Bertie Mae Paige of Auburn; grandsons Junior Carter, Andy Brock and Tavin Hayes; granddaughters Tammy Culver, April Chambers, Heavenly De La Cruz, Leann Stiwinter, Kay Carlile, Annie Carter, Tiffany Carter, Rosie Carter and Pamela Brock; great grandsons Junior McDaniel, Drake Culver, Jorgie Carter, Damon Culver, Devin Brock, Emmette Logue and Hunter Brooks; great granddaughters Haley McDaniel, Reva McDaniel, Sadie De La Cruz, Braylynne Roudebush, Lilly Carlile, Lea Carlile, Brooklynn Womack, Kaylynn Carter and Aishlyn Holloway; and great great grandson Morgan McDaniel, Jase McDaniel and Mason McDaniel. She is preceded in death by her son Julius Carter; daughters Brenda Brock, Ruby Carter and Virginia Carter; sister Gladis Cross; granddaughter Misty Brock, Rhonda Brock and Elizabeth Peck . Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Gospel Tabernacle, 321 Fields Road, Jefferson, GA, 30549. Steve Bo Roberts and Patsy Sherwood will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Timmy and Jamie Carter, 1604 Hwy 60, Hoschton until service time at the residence. Interment will follow at Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
