Anne Gertrude Coleman Daniell, born June 8, 1923 in Anniston, Al., passed away peacefully at home in Hoschton Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Anne lived in Anniston until her move to Hoschton. She was a devoted daughter, wife and mother. Anne was an active member of the Anniston Public Library, the Anniston Museum of National History, Grace Episcopal Church in Anniston, and the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America. She was also a certified genealogist. Anne is survived by her 5 children Sallie G. Daniell of Hoschton, Katharine Daniell Rance and husband Howard, Mary T. Daniell Bevis and husband Douglas, Griswold Boyce Daniell III and wife Kathleen, John Russell Daniell and wife Luci; 5 grandchildren Emily Annie Lozier Rance Schmitt and husband Joe, Sallie Elizabeth Oatwell Rance Stokes and husband Ollie, Henry Turner Ronan Daniell and wife Arielle, Mary Hannah Ronan Daniell, Simon Lee Bevis; 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Griswold Boyce Daniell Jr.; parents Lucius Thomas (L.T.) Coleman and Laura G. Robertson Coleman; 3 sisters; 4 brothers; close aunt Sallie Coleman Mason and husband Roy. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Highland Cemetery in Anniston, AL.
