Betty Jean Gillespie, age 67 of Bethlehem, Ga., passed away Friday, March 21, 2025. Betty enjoyed many things including gardening and crocheting. After graduating high school, Betty started working on her career. She started off working in DC for the FBI, she then became a police officer for the Broward County Sheriff’s Department in Florida, and then later moved to Barrow County Sheriff’s Department in Georgia where she retired. Betty is survived by her mother Phyllis Gillespie; brother Jerry Gillespie; niece Shana Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her father James Calvin Gillespie; brother Timothy Gillespie; and sister Nancy Baker. There are no arrangements at this time. Interment cremation.
