Bobby Churchill Stewart, age 76 of Gainesville passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020. Bobby loved to farm and animals, loved his church, working and loved his family. Survivors include his wife of 31 years Alice Stewart; sons Bobby Dole Stewart of Commerce, Tracy Gibson and wife Darla of Gainesville, Ray Young and wife Beka of Gainesville, David Daniel of Cornelia; daughters Earleen Ludwick and husband David of Greensboro, Linda Mitchem and husband Ronnie of Greensboro, Allison Wiley of Gainesville, Wendy Prather and husband Rahshan of Talmo; brothers Curtis Stewart and wife Gail of Rutledge, Chester B. Stewart of Madison; 31 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Bobby is preceded in death by his son Bobby Ray Stewart, Douglas Daniel; daughter Cathy Miller. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Shane Evans and Rev. Loyd Roper will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hoschton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the funeral home.
