Coby Lynn Adkins, age 63 of Hoschton, passed away, Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, and Friend
She leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her husband, Douglas Adkins; her cherished children, Erin Adkins and Brittany Adkins; her adored grandchildren, Taylor Lynn, Chloe, Maddux, and Cohen. She is also survived by her loving father, Glenn Ross; and her beloved brothers, Chris Ross, Glenn Ross Jr., and Clint Ross.
She was a mother to many, not only to her own children but also to countless others who lovingly called her “mom.” She opened her heart to everyone, offering the same love, care, and guidance to all who needed it. Whether by blood or by bond, she made everyone feel like they were truly a part of her family.
A woman whose heart bloomed as beautifully as the flowers she adored—dogwoods, roses, and hydrangeas. Her garden was a reflection of her soul: vibrant, nurturing, and full of life. Animals found sanctuary in her presence, from her dear squirrel friend, Henry, to the birds and deer that felt safe in her yard. Her beloved dogs, Daisy and Lilly, were constant companions, filling her days with joy and loyalty.
She found peace and happiness on Jekyll Island, where the natural beauty and serene ocean breeze brought her comfort and joy.
She had a zest for the simple pleasures: the sweet taste of Juicy Fruit, the comforting glow of candles, and the joy of cooking for her family, creating meals filled with love. Her spirit lives on in every blossom, every breeze, and in the hearts of those who knew her.
Forever loved, forever missed, and always in our hearts.
