David W. Pittman, age 70, of Monroe passed away Friday, August 21, 2015. Mr. Pittman had retired after 34 years with Delta Airlines then went back as a Charter Coordinator for 13 years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the senior group at Pine Hills Golf Club in Winder. He was a huge Georgia Tech fan. Mr. Pittman attended Faith Baptist Church and enjoyed the fellowship with The Brotherhood Class. Survivors include his wife of 50 years Ellen Pittman; son Kevin David Pittman and wife Debbie of Winder; daughter Kelly D. Pittman of Jonesboro and grandson Austin T. Pittman. He is preceded in death by his parents David S. Pittman and Mary Crumbly Pittman. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, August 26. 2015 at Faith Baptist Church, 1789 Hwy 11, Monroe, GA, 30656. Pastor Chris Connor will be officiating.
