Eileen Brenda Mayer, age 73, of Flowery Branch passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021. Eileen enjoyed oil painting, working in the retail business and helping others. She loved her family especially those grandbabies. Survivors include her daughters Tracey Mayer of Flowery Branch, Denise Mayer of Mexico; sisters Valerie Hughes and husband Paul, brother-in-law Mick Andrews all of the United Kingdom, grandchildren Amy, Aaliyah, Christian, Katlyn, Kirsten, Jose, Marissa, Owen and Tara; great grandchildren Bryson and Araceli. She was preceded in death by her son Mark Sewell; sisters Mavis Brown, Veronica Andrews . Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment cremation. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Eileen was such a sweet soul. She and my mother worked together for many years, then she and I worked together as well. I used to love sitting and talking with her. My goodness how she loved her family and her friends, especially her girls and her grandbabies. Tracey and Denise, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I met Eileen over 40yrs ago at Lanier Land Limeys a group of English women who meet every month, later on in yrs I went to work at JCP with Eileen over the years we became good friends taking our children on holiday together going shopping and out for lunch , I will miss you my friend.Fly high Eileen Fly high..
