Evelyn Darlene Landers, age 52, of Statham passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014. Evelyn loved to read, and was very computer literate. She also enjoyed Pro Football. Mrs. Landers was survived by her spouse of 31 years of marriage Billy Ray Landers; mother Joanne Sargent; son Billy Landers of Bethlehem; daughter Brandie Landers of Winder; brothers Russell Sargent and wife Melissa, Wendell Sargent and wife Tracey all of Winder; sister Linda Sargent of Statham; nieces Wendy Sargent, Katelyn Sargent and Haley Sargent and granddaughter Alexis. She is preceded in death by her father Herbert Sargent. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lindell Hunsley will be officiating. Interment will be held following the services at Melwood Cemetery, 5170 E. Ponce de Leon Ave, Stone Mountain, GA, 30083.
