Herbert Angus Turner, age 78, of Braselton passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. Mr. Turner was a Master Sergeant and veteran in the United States Air Force. He was a Mason and loved planes. Herbert was employed with the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller. Survivors include his son Tim Turner of IL; daughter Candida Kohler and husband Jason of Braselton. He is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Turner; parents Andy and Dora Turner and brother Lewis Turner. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Thursday, December 17, 2015 with military honors at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with military honors will be held during graveside services 12:00 pm Friday, December 18, 2015 at Greenwood and Serenity Gardens, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama, 36109.
