James Thomas Mize, age 70, of Hoschton passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. He loved to hunt and fish. He was survived by his wife Sandra Mize; sons Wayne Mize of Winder, Johnny Mize of Hoschton; daughter Katrina Johnson and husband Mike of Hoschton; brother Tyrone Mize and wife Susan of Commerce; sister Willie Lou Stoyle and husband Jerry of Danielsville; grandchildren Tabitha, RJ, Amber, Daniel, Zachary and Hope; great grandchildren Codee, Hunter and Harper. He is preceded in death by his parents Enoch and Lillie Mize. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Lawson Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Sims will be officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, September 2, 2014 at the funeral home.
