John “Jack” Jackson Wehunt, Sr., age 77, of Winder passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Mr. Wehunt loved truck driving, walking, animals and children. He was a hard worker and a loving father. Survivors include is daughters Charlotte Wehunt Shelton and husband Tim of Jefferson, Marsha Wehunt of Winder, Stephanie Wright Savage and husband Blake of Bethlehem; sons John Jackson Wehunt, Jr. of Winder and Matthew Hale and wife Amy of Warner Robins; grandchildren Dustin Shelton, Amanda Wehunt, Landon Wehunt, Miranda Peppers, Jason Wehunt, Brandy Kokly-Wehunt, Macey Hale, Elli Hale, Justus Hale and Bryce Hale; great grandchildren Destiny, Carson, Marissa, Bryson, Kendle, Kimberly, Kaylee, Morgan and Taylor and his buddy, Puggy. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Allen Stevens will be officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the funeral home.
