Jose Antonio Tovar-Campuzano, age 18, of Athens passed away Friday, November 4, 2016. Jose was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Athens. He was a student at East Jackson High School in Commerce. He was on the soccer team, ran track, played football and baseball. Jose was the most loving and friendly young man. He always had the biggest smile on his face. Jose could find the best in the worst situations. Survivors include his parents Victoriano Tovar-Coria and Macaria Campuzano Gutierre; brothers Victoriano Tovar-Campuzano, Salvador Tovar-Campuzano and Rigoberto Tovar-Campuzano; sisters Lugarda Tovar-Campuzano, Adela Tovar-Campuzan0 and Maritza Tovar-Campuzano. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 25 Wilkins Road, Winder, GA, 30680. The family will receive friends 2:00 pm Thursday, November 10, 2016 to 1:00 pm Friday, November 11, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.
