Kenneth Garrison Holbrook, age 85 of Winder passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Kenneth loved gardening, flowers, wood working, fishing, smiling, and most of all his family. He was a very simple man and will be missed very much. He is survived by his son Carl Wayne Holbrook of Winder; daughter Cathie Schuman of Winder; sisters Nancy Gilbert Holbrook of Marietta, Louise Mull; grandchildren Laura Nicole Holbrook Reynolds, Sybil Margo Wright Mckenney, Jessica Lynn Wych; great grandchildren Charlee, Rylee, Wesley, Haven, Jaydence, Hannah. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Carl Everett Holbrook; mother Louella Louise Vinson; wife Jeannette Charlotte Holbrook; son Robert Garrison Holbrook. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 pm, Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Russell Page. Interment cremation. Ken was a good brother-in-law and a good uncle to our family. We will always remember him for his easy-going personality, his smiles, and his willingness to help. It seems only yesterday that we were going camping, having parties and, getting together for holidays. Now I am the last one standing of the old gang. I miss them all.
