LCDR. Robert Joseph Bithell (Ret), age 84 of Hoschton Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Mr. Bithell was born April 3, 1936 in Pittsburg Pennsylvania to the late Chester and Luella Bithell. After graduating high school he continued his education and received his Bachelors Degree. He was a proud member of our military and served in the United States Navy. During his time in service he was assigned to the Naval fleet and served as the Executive Officer. After 30 years of service he retired as a Lieutenant Commander (LCDR). Mr. Bithell continued his civil service and started a second career with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the Fuel Tax Division. He worked with the IRS for 35 years. He is survived by his wife; Mrs Vicki Hamilton McAllister of Charlotte, NC. His son and daughter in law Rick and Maggie McAllister of Athens, GA. Daughter; Amy McAllister of Buford, GA. Grandchildren; Anna McAllister and Riley McAllister.
