Michael Carl Williams, 48, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Michael was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and U.T.C. and was employed by McKee Foods for 24 years. He was a member of Chestnut Mountain Church and was formerly the Vice President of the Junior Falcons Football Assoc. and was a ball boy for the Georgia Force Arena Football League, and played football with the GSU Eagles while on scholarship to Georgia Southern University.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Kimberly Anne Williams; children, Katie (Bo Kight) Williams, Bucky Williams, & Reid Williams; parents, Michael Ray & Elfriede Williams; sister, Tina (Steve) Thompson; niece, Lexi Thompson and nephews, Steven and Jake Thompson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Lawson Funeral Home with Pastor Clyde Self officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour at Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Georgia 53 Hoschton, GA.
