Neyda Marylia Reyes Hempton, age 72, of Winder passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024. She loved The American Bible Challenge, dancing for the Lord, and most of all her family. Neyda is survived by her husband Rick Hempton, sons Jesus Miranda, Richard Hempton, Giovanni Rosado; daughters Karen Lizette Rivera, Elizabeth Bray, Angelique Moon, Natasha Cruz, Summer Star Shamilian, sister Rosa Melendez; 24 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Manuel Cruz. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, August 5, 2024 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Smith. Interment to follow at Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the funeral home.
