Ralph Stephenson Vernon, age 81 of Winder, Ga passed away Sunday April 24, 2022. He loved to hunt, fish, NASCAR, westerns, and most of all his family. Ralph was a member of the Moose Lodge and he also spent time being a Mason. Survivors include his wife Voncille Vernon; son Steven L. Vernon of Winder; daughter Cindy Peppers Smith and husband Dwayne of Winder; sisters Edna Carter of Cartersville, Paula Cunningham and husband Lee of Piedmont AL; grandchildren Jay, Jonathan, Stephanie, Matthew, Sierra, and Serenity. Ralph was preceded in death by his sons Ralph Daniel Vernon, and Steven Peppers; brothers Harvey R. Vernon, and Hank Vernon; sister Brenda Ball. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the funeral home.
