Rosa Louise Mahoney, age 93, of Statham and formerly of Virginia passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016. Rosa was a loving mother and a beautician. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church College Park. Survivors include sons Robert Broom and wife Ann, Bert W. Broom and wife Sandy, Paul Robertson Broom and wife Gidget; daughter Louise Nunn; brother Howard Robertson; grandchildren Wendy Stolzenback, Shannon Stinchcomb and Shelley Hall, Jonathan Broom, Dustan Broom, Krystal Lavender and Morgan Broom; great grandchildren Megan and Holly Stolzenbach, Cade Henson Broom, Nathan Broom and Klara Lavender. A private memorial will be held in Concord, Virgina at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society or Lung Cancer Society.
