  8. It’s been many years since I’ve seen Shane but he and Barry were always two of my most favorite cousins. I always wished we all lived closer together. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. But we know he had a great reunion with his parents in heaven and one day we will all be together in our Heavenly Father’s presence.

  9. So sorry to hear of his passing. He and Barry were such fun older cousins to me and my siblings when we were kids. I probably road ten to twenty miles on top of his shoulders growing up. Family time at our grandparents, before life got in the way, and jobs carried individual families to other states. These were precious moments. We even drove out to Georgia when I was a little girl. Aunt Pat made my sisters and I a pillow with our name on it. I still have it. I was born in 1970. I will always treasure it, along with the time I spent with the “Mercer’s from Georgia.”
