Sharon Meyers Flamm, age 70, of Virginia passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016. Sharon was born and raised in Dayton OH. She has lived in Georgia and Florida, and most recently lived in Virginia with her husband and son Jason. While she is well known by family and friends for her cooking, gardening, and artwork, she was happiest when by her children and their families. Her grandchildren are the sunshine that brightened each day for her. Survivors include her husband John Flamm; mother Jean Clawson; sons Jeffrey D. Flamm and wife Virginia, and Jason T. Flamm all of VA; daughter Jennifer S. Fortner and husband Kevin of GA; brother James F. Meyers of FL; grandchildren John and Kyra Fortner and dear friend Ann. She is preceded in death by her father Donald E. Meyers. A mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 22nd, 10:30 a.m. at St. Henry’s Chapel, located at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Dr., Dayton, OH 45409; interment will follow at the cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join a luncheon reception to reminisce and celebrate Sharon’s wonderful legacy. The luncheon will be from 1p.m. to 3 p.m. at Eintracht Club Hall, 2707 Old Troy Pike, Dayton OH 45404.
