Walter Louis De Brock

Walter Louis De Brock, age 74, of Hoschton, Georgia passed away Friday September 27, 2019.  He was the son of James and Florence De Brock.  He was a police officer with the Allendale, N.J. police department and retired in 1998 after serving 27 years.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy (Dusenberry) De Brock; his children Steven De Brock and wife Kim of Roswell, Scott De Brock and his wife Tonya of Winder, Sheri Welch and her husband Brenden of Roswell.  His grandchildren; Shane, Kristen, Tyler, Zachary, Sidney and Cooper De Brock, Nicholas and Luke Welch.  Other survivors include; his brother-in-law and caregiver James Dusenberry of Jefferson, Harold Dusenberry and his wife Gail of Summerville, S.C., sister-in-law Kathy De Brock of  Hawthorne, N.J. and brother-in-law Henry Oakley of Hawthrone, N.J. and also several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday October 5, 2019 at Hoschton Untied Methodist Church, 12 Mulberry Street, Hoschton, 30548.  Pastor Marvin Mason will officiate.  Visitation with family is at 11:00 AM with a service following at 12:00 PM.  Reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
