William Donald Gunter Sr., age 75 of Braselton passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. William loved his family, loved to work on cars, and loved to camp to the mountains. Survivors include sons Donald Gunter of Braselton, Robert Gunter of Grayson, Matthew Gunter and wife Amanda of Homer; daughter Wanda Gunter Johnson and husband Anthony of Mt. Airy; brother Terrell Gunter and wife Elaine of Braselton; sister Kay Page and husband Terry of Maysville; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his wife Hazel Gunter; brother James Gunter; sisters Susie Massey, Linda Martin, Judy O’Kelley. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tim Strickland will be officiating. Internment will follow at Walnut Fork Baptist Church, 557 Hwy 60, Hoschton, GA 30548. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the funeral home. So sorry to learn of the passing of mine and Mike’s first cousin. Been a long time since I saw Donald . Prayers for Terrell, Elaine, Kay and her family and all who loved him.
