Arturo Vasquez “Turo” Escobedo, age 64 of Winder passed away Friday, December 25, 2020. Mr. Escobedo was born in Mexico where he enjoyed watching Bull riding and attending Rodeo’s. He was a landscaper and loved Rodeo Music. He attended St Matthews Catholic Church in Winder, GA. Most of his family and friends knew him as “Turo”.
He was the beloved son of his mother Salud Escpbedo and his late father Ambrsio Vasquez. A loving father to his children; Jose Torres Vasquez, Miguel Torres Vasquez, Nallely Vasquez and her husband Candido Juarez. His brother Paublo Vasquez; sisters Margarita Vasquez, Teresa Vasquez, Macaria Vasquez, Maria Vasquez and Luz Vasquez; His grandchildren Candido, Valeria Juarez and Kia Vasquez.
The Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 11:00am in the Social Hall of Saint Matthews Catholic Church, 25 Wilkes Road SW. Winder, GA 30680.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday December 29, 2020 beginning at 6:00pm with conclusion 1hr prior to the service on Wednesday December 30, 2020. Throughout the evening the family will have hold several Rosary Services. The burial will be held at a later date in Mexico.
