Clarence Willard Elliott, Jr., age 79, of Auburn passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024.  Survivors include his wife of 54 years Martha Elliott; daughters Tammy Meeks and husband Keith, Angela Standridge, Kim Smith and husband Scott; brother Bill Elliott; grandchildren Ashley Martin and husband Shane, Kaitlyn Meeks, Joshua Standridge, Jakob Standridge, Jordan Standridge, Jarrett Standridge, Jeremiah Pilgram, Ryan Smith, Nathan Smith, Kara Decatur and husband Nathan; great grandchild Megan Martin and a host of other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Elliott, Sr. and Louise Elliott; and sister Sandra Smith.  No arrangements will be held at this time.  Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.

  3. I’m so sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye while you were still alive. You left so suddenly. I wish I could tell you one last time thank you for my childhood memories. Fishing, helping you make bait, helping me learn to drive and taking me to get whatever snacks I wanted. I’m glad that you’re no longer in pain though. I hope you’re catching all the fish now. I promise to take care of nanny and always be there for her. I love you.
