Frances Patricia Mauldin, age 80 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Frances loved the Lord and Gospel, collecting cookie jars, her family, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Victoria Ledford and husband Brian Keith Sr., Tim Mauldin and wife Stella; siblings Mary Stein (Plum), Verlyn Perry, Tollie Dean Kanady; grandchildren Tabitha Johnson and husband Wesley, Jennifer Ledford-Lambert and husband Joe, Brian Ledford Jr. and wife Amey, Staisha Matthews and husband Josh, Doreese Bridgeman, Destinee Ledford, Daniel James (D.J.) Ledford and wife Brittany, Marvin Ledford, Krishawnda Alexander and husband Jason, Anthony Ledford, Daivon Ledford and wife Kelly, Selena Shipley and husband Dillon, Kieanna Staurdo and husband Solomon, John Ledford and wife Keri, Cora Ledford, Promise Ledford, Robert Ledford, Lexi Ledford, Hannah Ledford, Isaiah Ledford and wife Becka, Ray Ledford, Katelynn Ledford, Ashanti Ledford, Austin Tyler Ledford and wife Randi, Jonathan Ledford, Austin Blake Ledford, Faith Ledford, Makayla Ledford, Nakayla Ledford, Arteceia Ledford, Rebecca Ledford, Eva Ledford, Miracle Ledford, Ivey Joy Ledford, Isabella Ledford, Cody Mauldin, TJ Mauldin, Tori Mauldin, Cheyenne Mauldin; and 25 great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her siblings TJ Perry, Juanita Hickman, and Inez Key. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.
